Free Video Converter for iPhone by Pazera

Pazera Free Video to iPod Converter 1.0 is a free video converter for iPhone / iPod / Apple TV.
It a very easy to use video converter. It allows for batch video files conversion.
It supports most of the common video e.g. AVI, FLV (You Tube), SWF (Flash), DVD (vob), VCD (dat), etc.

Below is the screen capture for Pazera. As usual, I had used red color rounded rectangle to highlight the necessary button to use.

1. Add files - list all the video files to convert to iPhone format.
2. Profiles - Select "MP4-iPod/iPhone - Best Q." for iPhone / iPod. I high recommend Best Q. since the quality is outstanding.
3. <- Load - Pls click the load button to automatic switch to the right setting.
4. Convert

iPhone Firmware 2.0.2 Released

There are about six updates which list in the web link.

Almost of the them bugs fixed.

I had update to 2.0.2 and it took me about one hour (download, backup iPhone and update the new firmware).

Free software for convert DVD to iphone movie (HandBrake)

HandBrake

It is a video conversion program from DVD to iPhone (and most of Popular devices e.g. PSP, PS3, Xbox, etc.)
It supports multiple Chapter selection, audio selection, close capture selection, etc.

It is easy to use, powerful, user friendly, etc.

Below is the screen capture of HandBrake. I had highlight all the options that we need to pay attention. i.e.

Presets - Select iPhone / iPod Touch
Title - Select the title you wish to encode
Under Audio & Subtitles Tab
Audio Tracks
Track 1 & 2 - U can select up to two audio tracks
Subtitles
Subtitles - U can select all, one or none subtitles.

Under the menu below, I had highlight the left hand side subtitle selection and right hand side the Chapter selection.

Tips for using Home, Sleep/Wait & Mic buttons (Old Notes on 4 Aug 2008)

iPhone 按鈕/操作

主畫面按鈕 (Home Button)
* 按 "主畫面按鈕" 可回到 iPhone 主畫面(Home Screen)
* 雙按 "主畫面按鈕" 可到 iPod 控制(可在設定更改雙按的效果)
* 長按 "主畫面按鈕" 6秒可使運行中遇上問題的軟件(Application) 停止及回到 iPhone 主畫面(Home Screen)

睡／醒按鈕 (Sleep/Wait Button)
在收到電話時響鈴時，"睡／醒按鈕" (Sleep/Wait Button) 的操作會變為
* 按一次 "睡／醒按鈕" 可將電話響鈴轉為無聲
* 連按兩次 "睡／醒按鈕" 可將電話拒接

立體聲耳筒上的 "咪" Microphone 操作

在收到電話時響鈴時，立體聲耳筒上的 "咪" Mic 操作為
* 按一次 "咪" 可接聽電話
* 長按 "咪" ２秒後，在聽到２聲beep後可將電話拒接

立體聲耳筒上的 "咪" Mic 操作 iPod
* 按一次 "咪" 暫停/回復 播放音樂
* 連按兩次 "咪" 跳播下一首音樂

iPhone 2.01, Speaker with buzz noise, Google on Safari

iPhone 3G software 2.01 release
Apple release iPhone 3G software 2.01 update for bugs fixed.
You can go to iTunes, select "iPhone" and go to "Summary" tab and select "Check of Update"
It toke about 20min for download and install.

Speakers with Buzz noise by iPhone
If u put your iPhone close to the Speakers, there will be on and off Buzz noise.
To prevent it happen, below is a suggestion. I have not tried yet. Pls let me know whether it works.

Google.com for iPhone
It is not news (launch in Dec 2007), in case u don't know.
Google (English version only) will automatic know u are using iPhone. It will fit screen with menu at the top.
Since our default the location to HK, if we type http://www.google.com/ it will automatic go to http://www.google.com.hk/. The HK web page will not have menu at the top.
